DIGATRON POWER ELECTRONICS APPOINTS MARC THIELMANNS AS NEW VICE PRESIDENT SALES & MARKETING. FRIEDRICH GRUPE BECOMES VICE PRESIDENT PROJECT & PRODUCT MANAGEMENT.
The German manufacturer of test and formation systems for batteries Digatron Power Electronics has appointed Marc Thielmanns as its new Vice President Sales and Marketing. The father of two is no stranger to Digatron: From 2002 to 2008, he worked for Digatron as Sales Manager for the Asian market. He then moved to Jumo, where he headed the sales department.
Since September 1st, Marc Thielmanns will be responsible for the strategic direction of sales and marketing and will help to further strengthen Digatron's position in the market. He will be supported by the project management, which will be headed by Friedrich Grupe from now on. The close cooperation of the two departments will allow customers to be seamlessly supported and advised at sales and technical levels even in the early project phases. This will bring Digatron even closer to its customers, preparing it for the ever-increasing demands and increasing complexity of its solutions.
Kevin Campbell, CEO Digatron Power Electronics: "With Marc Thielmanns, we are gaining a proven sales expert and experienced strategist. In cooperation with the project management team, which, with the new head Friedrich Grupe, has in-depth technical knowledge and many years of experience, we are optimally positioned for the future".
With this step, Digatron is responding to changing customer requirements and the desire for ever more individual solutions that require intensive support and are technically very complex.
